This 4 km walking trail ventures through the uniquely reconstructed landscape of a rehabilitated mine site and along the fertile shores of Kenogamisis Lake. Enjoy a walk along the pathways, boardwalks and stairs through this scenic landscape that offers excellent opportunity for birdwatching and viewing local wildlife. Keep watch for one of North America's more colorful falcon, the American Kestrel as it hunts amid the grasslands. Warblers, Finches, and Thrushes are examples of the many songbirds that can be spotted along the trail, as well as the Yellow-headed Blackbird and Lecontes Sparrow species indigenous to the area.
