Located on the western boundary of Greenstone, this 7 km trail explores the Pijitawabik Palisades of Orient Bay, one of the oldest and most impressive geological sites in Northwestern Ontario.  The ancient towering cliffs of the Palisades have made it one of the premiere ice and rock climbing destinations in all of North America. You will marvel in the pristine majesty of the thunderous waterfalls and breathtaking views, 140 meters above Orient Bay, that this area has to offer.  Keep watch for the elusive and endangered Peregrine Falcon.  Discover rare and unique plant species.  It should be noted that this is a challenging hiking trail with steep climbs and uneven terrain.
